The garden had lawn and boundary wall - nothing to invite you outside. The family wanted a garden that changed through the year and gave them reasons to be in it at different times of day.
We created a journey through the garden - a stone path that curves through planting of varying heights, a seating nook shaded by a single tree, and species chosen for year-round interest: flowers in one season, grasses in another, evergreen structure throughout.
A garden that feels different every time you step into it - and that the family now lives in, not just looks at.
